<p><em>Wednesday Jan 11.</em><strong> Steelhead Flies.</strong> Hex, egg, stone, caddis and flesh flies that will up your catch at the Salmon River.</p>
<p><em>Wednesday Jan 18. </em><strong>Intro to Modern Ice-fishing.</strong> Discussion of shelters, augers, tip-ups, lines, and lures available to today’s ice fisherman.</p>

<p><em>Wednesday Jan 25</em><strong> Fishing New York’s Salmon River.</strong> Chuck-n-duck, flyfishing and spinning techniques for steelhead, brown trout, and salmon of the prolific Salmon River. An overview of tackle gear and technique.</p>
<p><em>Wednesday Feb. 1</em> <strong>Hi-tech ice-fishing.</strong> Vexilars cameras gps’s and chart plotters add new dimensions to ice fishing. Learn how to apply electronics to the hard water.</p>
<p><em>Wednesday Feb. 8</em> <strong>Modern Fishing Knots.</strong> Fluorocarbon and braid offer huge advantages to savvy fisherman, but also new connection challenges. We will cover effective line-to-line and terminal knots plus when and where to use them.</p>

<p><em>Wednesday Feb. 22</em> <strong>Bluefin Strategies.</strong> Whether fishing in the fleet or scratching the edges every giant fisherman needs a plan plus the ability to adapt. We will talk theory and technique to give you the tools to be successful on the tuna grounds.</p>
<p><em>Wednesday Feb. 29</em><strong> Ground fishing the Gulf of Maine. </strong>We will talk about jigging and baiting on the drift and on anchor plus trip planning and finding fish through the season.</p>

<p><em>Wednesday Mar 14</em> <strong>Trolling the Big Lakes for Salmon.</strong> Downriggers, leadcore, flyline and flatline techniques all have their place through salmon season and we will talk about flies, hardware and livebait tactics plus electronics, motors, and boats.</p>
<p><em>Wednesday Mar 21 </em><strong>Recreational Tuna in the Gulf of Maine.</strong> Our school tuna are challenging but fun. Discussion of baits lures rigging and locations.</p>
